All of our procedures are same-day outpatient procedures. A little preparation helps make your visit go as smoothly as possible.

Your visit is designed to keep you informed, comfortable, and prepared every step of the way.
Arrive at your scheduled time with your ID and insurance card. Complete your pre-op questionnaire through the patient portal before surgery; you’ll receive your portal login invitation one week before your procedure.
Our team reviews your information, confirms consents, starts IV access, and prepares your operative eye with drops and any needed pre-op care.
You will speak with your surgeon and anesthesia provider before the procedure and have time to ask final questions.
In the operating room, monitored anesthesia care (MAC) medication is given through your IV to help you relax. It does not put you fully to sleep, while topical numbing drops help keep you comfortable during the procedure.
You recover while medications wear off, then leave with your support person. Patients are taken to the front entrance by wheelchair per policy.

Your support person may wait in the building while you are in pre-op and surgery.
Procedure length varies, but most visits are completed within about 2–3 hours.
Because delays can happen in healthcare, please keep your day free and follow all arrival instructions provided before surgery.
Our team is ready to help you take the next step.
